FAQ
Getting Started
-
Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Suffolk — locally owned and operated right here in Hampton Roads, VA. Not sure if you're in range? Call or email and we'll let you know.
-
Michael — every visit, every time. There are no subcontractors or rotating crews at Liquid Connections. The same person who quotes your pool is the one who shows up to service it, week after week.
-
Reach out by phone at 757.346.2692 or email info@liquidconnectionspoolservice.com. Most homeowners hear back the same day with a straightforward quote based on your pool size and how much attention it needs.
-
No. Every plan is month-to-month — you can cancel anytime with written notice. There's an optional way to save with an advance balance (see Plans & Pricing below), but it's never a required lock-in.
Services
-
Brushing, netting, and vacuuming as needed; water testing and chemical balancing; a filter check; clearing skimmer baskets; and an emailed service report after every visit so you always know what was done.
-
Yes. Green pool recovery is one of our most common calls. We diagnose what's going on and bring a neglected or algae-heavy pool back to swimmable, usually over a few visits depending on how far gone it is.
-
Yes — repairs and installs are very much part of what Michael does, from equipment fixes and parts replacements to smaller upgrade projects, backed by hands-on pool equipment experience. Liquid Connections is a fully licensed business, and Michael is also working towards his Class C contractor's license, which will let him take on larger-scale installs in the future. Tell us what you're dealing with and we'll let you know the best way to handle it.
-
We offer vacation pool watch — your pool stays looked-after while you're away, so you're not coming home to a mess or a piece of equipment that's been running unchecked for two weeks.
-
Absolutely. One-time visits and diagnosis are available if you just need a straight answer on what's going on with your water or equipment before committing to anything ongoing.
Plans & Pricing
-
Weekly ($450/mo) for pools that get heavy use, Bi-Weekly ($260/mo, our most popular plan), Monthly Full Service ($175/mo) for lower-maintenance pools, and Monthly Spot-Check ($150/mo) — a reduced-scope plan for owners handling their own basic upkeep who want a periodic professional check. Ask and we'll send over the full comparison sheet.
-
Yes — it's completely optional. If you choose to keep a voluntary advance balance on your account equal to 6 months of service, you get 5% off your monthly rate; a balance equal to 12 months gets you 10% off. It's fully refundable and doesn't lock you into a fixed term — you can still cancel anytime.
-
Ask us. Pool size, equipment, and how much use it gets all factor into what makes sense, and we're happy to talk through a custom plan for your specific situation.
Billing and Payment
-
Billing runs through QuickBooks invoicing, on the 1st of each service month, for the plan you're currently on.
-
Card, ACH, or PayPal directly through your invoice, or Venmo, Cash App, cash, or check — whichever's easiest for you. No processing fee is passed on to clients for any of these methods.
-
A $25 late fee applies if payment is more than 14 days past due. A returned, bounced, or declined payment carries a separate $25 fee.
-
Yes, anytime — just give written notice. Service and billing continue through the end of the next full billing cycle after we receive your notice, and if you're carrying an unused advance balance, any remaining amount is refunded in full.
Policies
-
Yes — Michael still visits during rain, including cold rain, at minimum to make sure your pool isn't overflowing. Full service tasks are only paused when conditions are genuinely unsafe.
-
We do — refer a new client and receive a $25 Visa or Mastercard gift card once they sign on and their first payment clears. Just have them mention your name when they reach out.
